If you want an easy way to make a decent cup of coffee, then you need a good cafe in your life. Also known as a French filter press, the coffee shop only requires you to scoop in coffee powder, pour boiling water, and then put the filter cover on the top for a few minutes, and then put it into the bottom of the coffee powder. Then the coffee can be poured out to drink.
The best coffee shops will have a sturdy plunger and base. They should leave you with pure, unground coffee, and it should be easy to pour. Different models have different sizes and materials, and more expensive models even have double insulated walls, so your coffee can stay hot for a long time.

Most cafes have two main parts: a cylinder or beaker, and a filter, which fits tightly inside the cylinder. It is connected to the lid by a through rod and has a plunger on the top. Push down when the coffee is ready to drink, and the filter pushes down the coffee grounds, leaving you with a delicious coffee without grounds. Filters are usually stainless steel wire or nylon mesh, although more traditional filters can be made of cheesecloth (although this is rare now).
Consider what material you want the cylinder to be made of, including plastic (for clumsy people), glass (most common), stoneware (for modernists), or stainless steel (to keep the coffee hotter and longer). If you want to keep your coffee hot longer, or if you want to take your coffee with you, consider a travel version with a sealable lid-a bit like a thermos with extra coffee making capacity. Don't forget to wash the dishes-many cafes today have dishwasher-friendly parts.
Cafetières come in different sizes, which can be measured in liter size or cup size. The 350 ml version can make one large cup, two small cups or three cups. You can also buy six cups, usually 650 ml. The one-liter version is a good family size or entertainment because it can make about eight cups. Today, you can also buy everything in between-four cups, up to 12 cups. We always recommend that you choose a slightly larger coffee than you need, because most of us are used to drinking large cups of coffee, and you might be surprised that a cup in the cafe world is so small.
Most people prefer coarse ground coffee in coffee shops, because the finer coffee brewed in coffee shops can be a bit bitter. That's because the coffee shop can bring out a strong and rich coffee flavor. If you like fragrant coffee, look for African coffee with a light fruit flavor, but it is usually not mixed with milk. South American coffee is darker and more nutty. If you like strong coffee, choose dark roasted coffee-the coffee shop will bring out the intensity of bitterness.
As for how much you drink, it depends on the strength of the coffee and your personal preference. But again, as a rough guide, use 60 grams (about three tablespoons) of coffee per 100 milliliters. If you are a true coffee lover, be prepared to try different coffees, grinding and brewing times to find your favorite coffee blend.
